Is there anyway to delete the pictures on my Iphone under the photo stream album?

I just downloaded new software to my 3G iphone 4 and the picture settings changed. I have 2 separate albums called camera roll and photo stream and photo stream has all the pictures i've taken since i've done the download. It won't let me erase any pics int the photo stream album, is there any way i can do this?
 
Those are the pics that go into the iCloud. On your computer when you downloaded the update, it also asked to install the iCloud interface, go to that program and it should tell you where those pics are.(they're actually on the internet to be pick off from an put into any idevice, but you can choose which ones can be in the iCloud and which you want to remove from it.)
