Commercial VHS tapes cannot be copied to a DVD on a VHS / DVD combo unit due to copyright protection built into the tape and combo unit. If you own the commercial VHS tapes you can legally transfer the movies to DVD - but I haven't gotten that far yet with the web page. The next bit of information to go up will be how to deep clean the tape deck so no 'snow' is picked up and sent to the DVD.
