I just saw the last episode. it sorta said that it would be continued, but I'd like to know more.
is it going to be like Elfen Lied, with an unclear ending and and no sequel?
 
The anime adapted virtually the entire manga, so there's really nowhere for a second season to go, but an unspecified "new project" for Mirai Nikki was just announced. They haven't said what this "new project" will be, but I'd *guess* at a movie or OVA. A lot of people have been speculating that it could be related to the short Mirai Nikki: Paradox spin-off (http://myanimelist.net/manga/13277/Mirai_Nikki:_Paradox ). So the chance of a second season is basically zero, but there will be "something" else. We just have to wait for them to give us details.
