Is there going to be a new handheld gaming system coming out anytime soon?

I have a ds and i was thinking about getting the psp for the better games and more options and movies. and i heard there was a microsoft handheld coming out but didn't know much about that. so if anyone knows if there's gonna be something new please just tell me! THANKS!
 
There's nothing else besides what you mentioned that would have any good games (there usually needs to be a big company behind these things for good game publishers to make games for them). The Microsoft system probably won't come out for a few years, though.
