So this year my school got a new dean, and he's cracking down on absences and tardees. So that means every time a sub marks me absent on accident or I come in late and my teacher forgets to mark me there, my parents get a call home.
Sometimes I randomly decide to listen to the answering machine messages, and today for the third time I've ever listened to them,is also the third time we get a call from the school saying I wasn't there! They think I listen to the messages so that I can delete the one from the school before they get home.
I don't even ditch! I never have! I'm so angry and now I'm grounded because my parents are accusing me of ditching. And I can't even prove I was there because it was a substitute that marked me absent and my history teacher doesn't trust us (because of other kids in my class who've taken advantage of subs before) and won't believe me when I say I was there! D:<
