What do you think? it needs work as i only just whipped it up, any suggestions?
‘Ammolite is a small country on the west of Whales. Its multi cultural residents are very unique. The country does not have a particular race, its city’s towns and villages are made up of people from the other countries of the world, France, England, Australia, Africa – it speak English mostly though-’
“What are you doing?” asked a small dark-haired girl who was gazing over her twin brother’s shoulder. She was wearing a dirty pink dress and a newly creased forehead. They were in their bedroom of the grimy, small house. Sounds from their mother and her boyfriend were echoing down the hall – they were drinking again.
“None your business,” Spat the boy, his head still buried in the book. “It’s too intellectual for you to understand – now go!” The girl ran off , fighting back tears, but the brother only smirked and went back to his book.
‘The 1600’s witch trials are the reason for this country, with them the residents would have probably never migrated there. When the witches were accused of their strange craft many fled, making home on Ammolite grounds (no one really knew how they managed to get there.)
The witches soon died out but people remained, building a very great infrastructure and-“
“What is it now?” Sighed the boy, his sister was back.
“Wanna play people game?” she stood, twisting; she knew her brother would give in eventually…
“Fine,” the dark haired boy sighed. “But I am the ruler! You are under my control!”
The girl clapped her hands together and jumped on the bed that they had to share. Her face was lit up as she pretended to be weak and poor (she really didn’t have to try very hard.)
They played for only a few moments, when, just then, the boy smiled. It was a twisted smile as he watched his sister… his eyes gleamed with an unmistakable edge…
“How about you hide in the cupboard… That is where you can sleep, okay?” The boy opened the small, white cupboard and gestured for his sister to go inside, she didn’t argue.
Once his sister was snug, the boy close the cupboard door and picked up a brass shiny lock… it would keep her quite for a while at least…
