Is this is a possibility why humans were superior to other species of the Homo genus?

By looking at the table of the various species in the genus Homo, I noticed that Homo Sapiens, or modern humans, have the most variation in height, and also have the largest average height.

Could this be one reason why humans where able to be the dominant species?
