so i went to petsmart and bought a GRAY ONE, not the black one because they told me it was gonna grow huge, and when i opened the bag in my tank, he started to swim on all of the sides of the 55 gallon tank like my dither fish, is this okay for him?, is it a sign that he is not feeling good?, i heard that those fishes like to hide a lot, but mine is like doing the opposite, i have hiding places for him as well, so is that a sign that he is gonna die soon?? what did ur african brown knife fish do when u first introduced it to ur tank??
btw the temperature is 79F. and the nitrates, nitrites, are all good, and the pH is acidic due to driftwood and the pleco chewing it, his only tank mates are a 4"peaceful bala shark, and a 4 dither giant zebra danios, and a peaceful firemouth that mind his/her own business. and doesnt bother anyone. thats my current stocking as of now.
