A guy I'm doing business with says he is doing something "for me" (for free)

Is this taking a personal tone? How would you take it?
 
uhm it depends on wut dat sumthin is... lol if itz business stuff den no.. but if it isn't den yes.. but it also depends on the way he acts towards it if u kno wut i mean?
