Is This The "Friend-Zone?!" Instant 10 Pts.... I'm Going To Bed After This lol?
So I've met this girl I've grown interested in and initially I thought she returned the favor. Whenever we would hang out as a group of friends she would always give me the impression that she was interested (touching, flirting etc). Because of this, I wanted to try to avoid the friend zone so I tried not to be a doormat, I would flirt using words and facial expressions and I tried not to be clingy or desperate and I would only call or text every other day or whenever she texted or called me.
However, one night, me and her ended up alone and we started talking and the convo went pretty personal. She told me about a couple life problems she had and she looked and me and told me that she "was trusting me with everything she told me." She also started telling me about her past relationships and how bad they were and they never worked out. While I was listening to all this, all I could think about was that I was being friend zoned and my chances of getting with this girl will be gone. But my buddies told me that it isn't necessarily the friend-zone I'm in. But I still want more opinions. I'm I being friend-zoned? If so, what can I do to avoid it? Thanks for the responses.
