And why aren't they there already, Could it be to concessions this sitting
president is making to campaign promises that are costing each and
everyone of us our money. Don't use the same old retarded defense for
GM or Chrysler. Sure 1 million Union workers will be out of a job, But
one million non union workers will take there place. Works for me.

You are pretty much on target. The Auto Industries should have gone into bankruptcy court for reorganization but that would mean arbitrary concessions by both management and labor. Labor does not want that. They want the taxpayers to pay their pension and benefits for them. Even though most taxpayers enjoy no such benefits or pension.

Bankruptcy is not the end of a company. It simply provides relief so they can become productive and profitable again. But the current administration does not want the Auto manufacturers to become profitable again, they want to take control of them an force them to produce "green cars" that no one wants.

Doesn't anyone care that the government is violating the Constitution every step of the way? For a former Professor of Constitutional Law this President of ours sure seems to be ignoring it. Can't be that he does not understand that.
