I'm a student looking for a good way to spend my next summer. I came across WWOOF and thought it would be cool to work on a farm for a month or so, maybe even go somewhere in Quebec to improve my french. However, a 1 year subscription to WWOOF Canada costs $45 and since I'm in University and every dollar matters, so before I buy the membership I wanted to hear some other peoples opinions on WWOOF and a little bit about what their experience was like with it. Also, if anyone can recommend some other networks or communities where I can find other opportunites to volunteer in exchange for food and bored, then please do!
