Is your history textbook fair and balanced?

By 'fair and balanced" I mean it doesn't focused overly on heroic military operations or isn't rife with that good-guy-vs-bad-guy Hollywood type narratives.

Besides that, do you agree that the basic role of history education should play a role to make the people enhance the ethnic self-esteem and national identity? ,say, by dramatizing the war in a patriotic manner, which, in my opinion, would spread overly hatred feelings among the people and could end up stirring up the sense of enmity as seen in here@ 'Magic Carpet that makes you feel bettter' view-source:http://p.tl/8RiQ.

What's your opinion?
