Im planning on buying an Itouch 3G soon and im sure i will want to jailbreak it, I know it is possible to do a Untethered Jailbreak for IOS 3.1.2 and only a Tethered Jailbreak for IOS 4. What i want to know is Since IOS 4 is only available with Itunes 9.2, I currently Have 9.0 if i dont update it will Apple force me to download 9.2 when i firsty plug my Brand New Itouch in? Or will i get IOS 3 instead of IOS 4 due to not having Itunes 9.2?
turns out there is actually no jailbreak for Itouch 3G IOS 4 yet -.- But i still want to know what will happen if i have Itunes 9.0 and not update it? Will i get IOS 3 because this would be a brand new touch plugged in to the comp.
