i have a 3gs new bootrom device that i just jailbroke on ios 4.1. every time i turn my phone off then turn it back on or i hit 'free memory' in sbsettings, a volume bar appears that effects both my ringer and in app volume when i use the side volume buttons on the iphone to try to adjust my ringer volume. (the word ringer doesn't appear above the volume bar), the only way to separate the 2 volumes is by entering an app adjusting the volume from in the app and then when u exit the app and readjust the ringer volume it finally lets u adjust only the ringer volume and the word 'ringer' is above the volume bar like it should be.
at first i thought it was the greenpois0n jailbreak that was causing this so i switched to limera1n. and it still kept happening then i noticed it happend when i hit free memory in sbsettings like i previously mentioned, so i tried uninstalling all the packages that came with sbsettings and it still happens when i turn my iphone off and back on.
the only jailbreak apps im currently using are gpsphone openssh and sbsettings so far. does anyone have any idea how to fix this or what may be causing it? its not too big of a deal because i figured out how to get around it but its still annoying having to fix it every time i use free memory.
thx in advance for any answers
