Do you think the Jets are being fair with how their organization has such high expectations now? I mean from a team who won 4 games one year to winning 9 the next plus beating the Pats and othe division rivals at least once. Now they fire the coach, and teamates backstab others for the collapse of the season. To that I am reffering to what RB Jones said about QB Favre. I have watched Favre for the last 17 years as a Packer. Everyone in the league knows who Brett Favre is, and what he is capable of (good and bad) He has always been a guy who took chances. All great ones have. Babe Ruth Held the record fo most home runs in MLB and also held the record for most strike outs. WHy? because he took chances. Favre has always been a guy who would take it all on his shoulders when the rest of the team was not producing. He has many many times come rom 21 point behind to win a game. But he also has come from 21 points behind to almost win but to just give it away in the end. Favre may not be the best QB ever, but he sure has been the most exciting definately. Not as boring to watch as Brady, or Aikman. They were really good but boring. Favre, ya never knew what was going to happen. You gotta love hime for the same reason ya hate him. Jones wont even be able to spit-shine the shoes of the janitor in Canton OH. Favre is still better than most QBs of the league. He did much more for the Jets than his role on the field. Him just showing up to thier facility gave the Jets the expectation to win. He may not have the best numbers as a Jet, but he is the best player the Jets have ever had on the roster for sure. I guess I just think the Jets are demanding too much perfection too soon from turning thier team around. It would not suprise me if they turn out ike the Lions for the next several years. So who thinks the Jets will be better next year, or even in 3 years?
