job at taco bell, is this illegal?

is it illegal for taco bell not to give there employees a 15 min break after 2 hours and 30 min break after 5? I work at taco bell in canada and i do not get a break unless i work for 6 hours and its an unpaid 30min break, it is illegal for them to not give the right amount of breaks?
 
i dont know about canada
but here in the u.s. employees must get a 10 minute break for every 4 hours worked, and a 30 minute lunch (paid or unpaid depending for what company you work, they chose whether to pay it or not) for every 5 hours worked i think
