I booked and paid for IN FULL a two week foreign holiday for May and purchased spending money at the same time as I paid the holiday as well. Unfortunately I have since been made redundant.
What I would like to know, is what my signing day and cycle will be. This will impact whether I miss one or two signing days.
Now before I hear the usual arguments "how can you afford to go on holiday, etc." well I saved hard and paid the holiday before I was redundant. It's not my fault!!!
Yes, I am available for work, and, looking (the Internet is marvellous). Also in my experience, in general if a job offer was made, NO employer would expect you to start immediately, whether unemployed or not. Most expect at least 4 weeks before an employee will start (which is the standard notice period for employees with more than 1 years service with an employer).
So any help and assistance on this one, would be greatly appreciated.
