I'm trying to find out if 7.1 is worth it for me to spend the extra $. As an example, if I were to pop in John Mayer's "Where the light is" Blu Ray video and play via a 7.1 surround sound system and then compare to a 5.1 system, would I notice a major difference? Should I anticipate many more artists releasing videos with this audio format encoding?
