to agree to a number of pro? Jose purchased a computer from Bell, Inc. Upon starting the computer, he was asked to agree to a number of provisions in the contract of purchase in order to continue his initial installation. The program indicated that if he did not wish to agree to the terms, he could return the computer to Bell at Bell’s expense. One of the provisions required that any disputes arising under the agreement be submitted to binding arbitration. Jose wonders if this clause is valid. “What statutory rights and protections do I have in court?” Advise Jose on his rights under the Bell agreement.
