Okay, here goes my explanation: I have been moving up fast. I picked up moves quicker than others during Basic 1. My coach in that level kept on telling me that I would become a great figure skater. Because of that, I skipped Basic 2 and moved on to Novice 1. Then my coach in that level asked if I was comfortable in that level. She asked me if I wanted to move up, so I did move up and I moved up to Novice 2. My new coach judged my skating and said, ‘I think we need to bump you up again’ but I wasn’t sure if she meant it because I stayed in that level. Probably because as you move higher, the moves go harder so maybe I wasn’t good enough to literally move to the next level straight away or maybe my coach just wanted to make sure I do each and every move perfectly so that I really do have a purpose to move up. Also, my coach now - my Intermediate 1 coach - hasn't said anything but most of the time she asks the others to watch me while I do a demonstration. Apperantly, she says I have the best mohawk, which I don't believe because my mohawk seems to suck compared to the way I want it to look like. Also, I've been told by my friend's mum that I was learning moves quicker than her daughter. So, yeah. Can you judge for me? Because when I think of "natural" I keep thinking like, moving up way faster than what I have explained. And moving up faster even though some moves are so difficult for other students.
