vw golf tdi, 2001, 126,000 miles....
I blew the engine in my car yesterday. Unfortunately, I can't afford the $4400 to drop a new engine in and repair it. I have been offered $500 from someone wanting to buy it and I have another guy who buys cars interested. Problem is he won't give me an amount because he says its a rare car to come across in a junkyard and he doesn't know what to offer and I don't know what would be a good offer. I'm a single mom and every penny will make a difference to me. Can anyone tell what the approx. value might be for a fair offer? I absolutely can't afford to fix it or I would, till now it was a wonderful car
