I just had the VR3 VRVD630 installed in my Trail Blazer. Everything works, BUT I cannot for the life of me get my iPod to work on it. I am using the USB that came with the iPod, I followed the instructions in the manual (http://sewelldirect.com/download/drivers/SW-8252.pdf) and it still won't work. Following the directions, I plugged in the USB, pressed the band/play button and it just says waiting. It will say waiting for a few minutes and then changes to the CD that is in the player. What am I doing wrong?! The only reason I got this stereo was because I could hook my iPod up to it. Why isn't it working?! Help! It says that it will only play all MP3s OR MP4s, shouldn't my iPod (and all the music on it) be in the MP3 format anyway? Thanks in advance!! The stereo was actually free, brand new in the box. Someone gave it to my husband. We are not planning on keeping the SUV for too long so we didn't want to pay a lot for a stereo. Thanks, I will try the aux cord.
