However, it does worry me how many people on here seem to be intent on becoming published authors; I write purely because I enjoy writing, and I think it's dangerous to write for any other reason, especially if that reason is money. Yes the dream is there, but I'm realistic about it - if it does happen it likely won't be for another 10-20 years at best. Keep sending out those letters, but even if every single one comes back a "thanks but no thanks" you still have the right to sit back and say with pride "I wrote a book". And there's nothing stopping you writing another is there?</p></blockquote><p></p>
