So which sect of Judaism have the Ancient Hebrews followed?

Karaite Jews seem to be Righteous in following the ways of the Tanakh, in my interpretation of the scripture.

Deuteronomy 4-2:
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

The Babylonian Talmud came into existence after the Second Temple Era.

God's word is above all.
 
Traditionally, the Talmud contains the oral Torah, which is an accompaniment to the written Torah. The written Torah suggests that it's incomplete, saying things like "slaughter the animal in the way I told you" but there is nothing in the written Torah that *does* explain this.

You're free to think the Karaite viewpoint is valid. But, then again, you're not Jewish (right?) so I don't see why you should care.
