Iam a Karate and BJJ practitioner. I have been doing it for over a year know. I just found out there is a ninjitsu bujikan dojo where I live. I will go an check it out. If the place turns out good and has good instructors do you think I can add Ninjutsu into my fighting arsenal?

Ninjutsu's not even a real art. It was made up by this one japanese dude and taught to a bunch of white anime fans from around the world. It's not even effective.

Here see for yourself

That link is of it beeing made fun of on Japanese TV. The Japanese dont even consider it a real art lol

Ninjutsu is awesome my friend.
lol- is it where you breath fire and stuff! Lmao!

The thing about ninjutsu though is that it doesn't approach attack and defense like other martial arts. To be a ninja, you learn to use many many tools to take people out. Im not saying your sensei will teach you how to make poison or bombs, but I understand that a ninja fights from many different angles and the enemy shouldn't see it coming.

I don't think any art is better than another. I think they are about what you take from them, and to me, ninjutsu is the art of survival, not of combat. but that's just me.

With that being said, most ninjutsu school teach Taijutsu. (at least thats my experience.) If you have studied bjj then you will find a lot of similarities. you will likely also find that the joint manipulation is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and that much of the technique is based on natural movement that manipulates your opponent.
I am glad you are going to check it out. I would be surprised it you didn't like it, actually, based on what you are saying.
Also, most of the answers I just read are crap. The history is wrong and so is the "art of deception" stuff.

I have thousands of links. Literally.
email me if you have more questions. Some one helped me once I never regretted it.

Oh- a ninja is an arsenal my friend. You won't be adding to it, you will become one.

There are some great Bujinkan schools out there, there are also some terrible one. So be careful

Really though I do not think you have a solid back ground in one art judging from this question. Take some time and really learn one of the arts you have already started before adding new to it. You really run the risk of completely confusing your muscle memory and over lading your self with to much information. These things can lead you to never being good at any of the arts you are doing.

I am all for cross-training, but to much to quickly is a terrible thing to do.
