Karate Competitions....?

I used to take lessons where I lived before I moved to where I live now, and my brother was a big competitor and won a lot of competitions.
I want to continue to learn martial arts but also want to find schools that are competitive, so far all the ones in my area just teach and don't compete nationally.
Any help, please? If you know of a search engine or something that finds competitive karate studios, that'd be a big help but any other help is appreciated. Thanks.

you know you dont need your school to compete natioanlly right? you can train, get the consent from your teacher, fly there and then compete. if you are over eighteen anyway. if not, you'll need a shaperone, whcih could be a parent, older sibling etc. but yea

when i was into tourneys like you, i used to travel with my older brother to traditional competitions. i got a written consent form from my teacher and then was able to compete, took pics, lol had some fun back then
