I have a 1979 Kawasaki 440 that needs a carburetor. I have been searching the internet and local library's, but I cannot find the correct information for a carburetor. I have visited all the kawasaki or snowmobile sites but the answer is still not there. I have even been to a kawasaki dealership but they told me that they have no information for such an old model. I have seen several posts that indicate a Mikuni Carb, but what size? Round or Flat? I have seen sizes range from 32mm to 44mm, so which one do I need? Again I have been to all the websites that people have suggested and to a dealership so I need another answer.
