I need help if a key fob I bought has already been programmed to another car is there a way to change it so it can be programmed into my car? its a new fob and I have no idea how it was programmed to another car first but this is what the dealership is telling me! What can I do locksmith maybe??? please help!
The dealer is saying that fobs can only be programmed one time for one car! is this true? This is not fault of my own this is the fault of the dealer and they will not take it back nor will they give me another one! they want 110.00 for another fob.. WTF is this world coming to when the dealer who sold you something refuses to take it back when the tech at the dealer is the one who tried to program the damn thing and it would not work! grrrrr

It can be reprogrammed, but the dealer has to do it. A locksmith wont be able to help you. If its already programmed to another car, its because the dealer tried selling it to someone else first.

Ok, just read the last part. Very simple, go back to that dealer, and tell them you want the number for the Saab regional office, and tell them what the dealer told you. They are straight up screwing you. If its true they cant reprogram it, then they should not have sold it to you. Go over their heads, and they will resolve your problem. Trust me, they dont want the big bosses from Saab breathing down their necks.
