keyboard related question...interesting point to be noted!?

Being a touch typist i always wonder about the positioning of the letter "a" in the QWERTY keyboard.
Don't y'all agree that it's not on a very suitable place?
I mean according to me the left hand pinky is extremely weak to handle the pain and 'a' is the most used letters in the language. I wonder what made it have the position it has.
I would like you all to share ur views...

"e" is actually the most used letter in the alphabet. You need to stop being a wuss and your pinky cannot actually be that weak to not be able to press a button. Grow up.
