KIA letters? How the military notified families nowadays?

I'm currently in college and in my politics class and we were split into 2 sections people that believe the service shows sympathy and the side that dont believe there is enough and instructed to disprove the other. I believe they show as sympathy as possible and to help my report I was wondering how or where I could find a actual KIA letter or notification letter to families of a fallen soldier. Or if anyone has one they would be willing to share it would be greatly apprciated and helpful in my pursuit to support the military service and it's men and women
