We rescued an injured kitten a little over one month ago and have nursed her back to health successfully from a 2 month old kitten that couldn't walk. She's adapted well socially with us and our other animals (2 cats and a dog) and has actually formed a strong bond with out dog.
Anyways, we've had her for a little over a month without anything alarming besides a ringworm infection which we are treating. However, last night, she was up all night screaming (not as in crying or meowing, actually a loud screaming noise) continually while cleaning herself towards her "butt". She probably did this every 10 minutes or so for a few hours. We have other cats to keep her company at night, we brought her into bed and she still did it, so we're a bit concerned at this point. We plan on taking her to the vet (she was just there) but wanted to see what others on here thought it could be. From what I've read it seems like she could be in heat but I'd think she's a bit young for that? Thoughts?
