I'm studying Korean now and I have a bit of trouble with grammar. To be more precise, I don't understand the meaning of the suffix (?)?/??. It wasn't explained very well. It was said, that it connects two sentences, when in the second one something unexpected happens.
It was also said that it could be used like "but," until here everything is clear, but then it was written that sometimes it couldn't be translated that way. for example:
??? ??? ???? - she is beautiful and clever. I don't see any "but"s here, so could you help me understand the meaning of (?)?/?? fully? It would help me so much! ^_^
