I know we all want to believe Lance Armstrong since he’s such a good guy. He’s raised hundreds of millions of dollars for cancer research and has always handled himself with grace in the public eye. However, let’s not kid ourselves: Lance Armstrong was a cheater.
He obviously took some sort of performance enhancing substances. If he didn’t, why would he all but admit it by giving up? This is a guy who never said die when fighting cancer. Unless he was going to get busted, he wouldn’t through in the towel to save his good game.
It sounds like there was finally enough evidence against him and Lance Armstrong decided to walk away before that evidence came to light. Lance Armstrong, you are no longer a hero. You are a cheater.
