Laptop issues. Can anyone help?

I've been having some laptop issues. One day, I went on my laptop and I plugged in my charger. I saw that my laptop wasn't charging. I thought I needed a new charger, but when I tested it on another laptop, it worked. So, I ordered a new battery. After waiting 6 weeks for it, it finally came. I put in the new battery and it still isn't charging the laptop. So if it's not the charger OR the battery, what can it be?
 
It could be the DC adapter inside of your laptop, the piece the adapter plugs into.
