I am lost in this too. Can a lawyer who is admitted in the another state (for example Florida) practice law in another state (for example Texas). We are worried. Our lawyer is admitted in to the state bar of another state but not ours. A contract has been made and we are worried that if we ever need representation she might not be able to represent us. Does anyone know how this works? and why they don't tell you, I found out on my own.
