It is really something...
I really never heard of this while a LDS member (ex now)
WHY IS this place never talked about in the LDS church. (I never heard one peep about it)
It is a church that is still ran that is the supposed birthplace of Jesus Christ and a Church that dates back to 326 AD.
It has a Grotto, this is the cave that has been honored as the site of Christ's birth since at least the 2nd century.
A silver star in the floor marks the very spot where Christ is believed to have been born!
In 1852, shared custody of the church was granted to the Roman Catholic, Armenian and Greek Orthodox churches. The Greeks care for the Grotto of the Nativity. All visitors are welcome.

If the LDS church claims to be the only (holding the "entire" truth) true Church on Earth, why is this place NOT taught about?
NOT Mentioned? Nor even ran by LDS? Whats the deal?
IF this is the focus(Jesus Christ) with the LDS (Mormon) church WHY is this place not addressed? I would think it would be pretty important.
