Hi there , i have a male chihuahua who is 3 years old and very attached to me. He falls asleep with me every night. And is always there by my side watching TV. When my boyfriend and I go out to work or run errands we always leave him food and toys and the tv on for him. This will be my first time leaving him over night by himself for more than 3 days ( I will be gone for 20 days). My aunt and uncle will be dropping by the house feeding him, walking him, playing with him. But i am very worried that during the night he will cry and whine because we didn't come home for awhile. My chihuahua and my moms dog ( they are both very familiar with each other since i used to live with my mom) will be with him as well. Should i be worried? I am scared that he won't eat for days and be depressed or try to run away when my aunt or uncle walks him.

Please answer if you have been in this position or left your chihuahua alone.

thank you
I forgot to mention that the only reason my aunt and uncle cannot take both the dogs at their place is because they have a dog of their own with heart problems who is really old and needs medication.
I cannot stress enough how i wish they can take our dogs to their place..
They will be dropping by the house ( since they live 15 mins walking distance ) every 3 -4 hours.
And leaving the television on with food and toys they can play with. I really wish they can bring them to their place but they don't want to risk it. I feel like i am being a bad owner by doing this. But i have no family except them to watch our dogs. And i don't trust strangers watching my dogs.
So please spare the guilt for myself as i am feeling really guilty as it is. But we have been planning this vacation for 9 months. And unforturnately i cannot our dogs.
