...of humor? I often hear straight women say they want a man with a sense of humor to keep them laughing and smiling. Women say a sense of humor is important in a man they want to date or marry.
But do lesbians and bisexual women think a sense of humor is important for another woman to have? can a woman with a sense of humor be attractive or endearing?
I ask because I am a woman with a sense of humor (but I am very mature). I like to make people smile and laugh. I want to hear other womens opinions on the matter.

Sense of humor is the most important thing to look for in a girl...In my opinion!

if a woman's personality and sense of humor are great, their physical looks don't matter, you can learn to fall in love with anyone if you are attracted to their sense of humor!

It is important to me that I have a good sense of humor. It is one of my strong points. I'm a very intense person and having a sense of humor helps to balance me. I don't need another person to make me laugh or smile. I appreciate a woman with a good sense of humor especially if she is mature. Being funny is not at the top of the list for me choosing a partner. It is more important to me to be with someone that appreciates my sense of humor. I know a woman that anytime we are together we are laughing. She is really funny and our humor matches. However she always talks badly about me. Being in her company to laugh and have a good time is not worth the hurt in my heart when I hear the things she says about me. I remember spending time with a very attractive lady that was funny and we just went on and on. I had a great time. She was really pretty but when she starting joking with me it added to her attractiveness. I like it that you say you like to make people smile and laugh. I do too. It gives me a high. I like clean humor. When I'm telling a joke it is about what happens to me in my life. I definitely don't like crudeness. I don't like to hear it from men and I certainly wouldn't appreciate that in a woman. I'll be honest and say I like attractive woman. Looks aren't everything but damn they are something. Perhaps that is superficial. I can't see myself with an unattractive partner. I like women that like to share their feelings. Honesty is a big thing for me.
So overall, it is not as important for a woman to be funny as it is for her to enjoy my humor.

Yes, it's very important to me. Endearing quirks and laughs and jokes are just the best. It's not good to be serious all the time. All of the girls I've loved have had a sense of humor- Either shy, dirty, silly etc etc- It's all good! Laughing is my favorite thing.

yeah i think a sense of humour is really important. especially, i'm a really facetious and fun loving person and i don't get along well with those really uptight anal people who take everything so seriously. there would just be a huge personality clash. if someone can make me laugh, they get brownie points in my book =]

They definitely need a sense of humor for me! My girlfriend has me laughing at all hours of the day. As long as it isn't a stupid humor and it is more of a mature humor then I like it.
