Lesson from one of the books in The Odyssey?

I am studying the 19th Book in the Odyssey and I have to know the lessoned learned from it.. The 19th book is about where Eurycleia is washing his feet and sees the scar on Odysseus's knee and knows that he is really Odysseus, then Odysseus tells the maid to not tell Penelope that its him. What is the lesson learned?? hellpp!!!
