Hi,

I have similar question to two different type of TV's, so I'm posting it as two posts. Please don't confuse them to be same thing because they are similar. :)

Me and my sister got a chance to demo Samsung UA55D8000YR 55" 3D TV and LG 42LW4500 LED 42" 3D TV, also they (store) showed us few lower Samsung ones. Of all of them only 55" Samsung one had the least ghosting. I'll get to it in a bit.

We are on a tight budget, so we don't want to make the mistake of buying the wrong TV for our needs. We were set on buying LG 55LW6500 LED 3D TV, but they didn't have that in stock.

I need to know few things. Our main attraction to 55" passive LG 3D was it's possibility of Dual Play, we were hoping to use HDMI and play MMORPG from our PCs on the big screen and such. Following are the questions:

1) Two HDMI cables from 2 computer systems into split view. I mean input from two different PCs to be displayed on each of the split view. Is this possible?

2) If above is possible, then can we then convert it to 3D mode and use left-left & right-right glasses to get a Dual Play effect on games? Lets that that MMORPG scenario I mentioned. My sis wears a right-right glass and I a Left-left glass, then we got individual displays from the individual computers...

3) Ghosting and distance, I noticed a lot of ghosting on the demo. The LG ones particularly, what is the minimum distance for 55" LG 3d TV's to avoid ghosting. We'll mostly use it for gaming.

4) Anywhere I can buy or get a custom made left-left & right-right glasses? I searched everywhere and all I get are tutorials on how to make one your own, which is not what we are looking for.

Please answer my questions, it will help us decide whether we want LG 55" or not.
