The touch screen on this thing was never great, but it was at least usable at the beginning. But over the past 9 or so months that I've had it, the touch screen has become almost completely useless. It literally has a mind of its own.

If I'm texting (or at least attempting to) and hit the letter "P" it will give me a "U", or an "I", or even as far as a "Y". The same problem applies to every other button on the screen.

I touch one thing, it gives me something an inch away, in seemingly random directions. There's not even a pattern really. It just does whatever it wants.

Does anyone know what could be wrong? Is this a problem that can be fixed by me? Or should I take it in?

The phone has never been beaten up at all. It may have fallen out of my hoodie pocket once or twice (LITERALLY once or twice) when I'm sitting down, but nothing serious ever.

The thing is just dying on me. And it's getting reeeaally frustrating.
