LG GW520 won't send texts...?

I have had my LG for about 3 months now and it has been working fine up until now. The other day i wanted to text my friend so i composed the message that i wanted to send but when I pressed send i got no response. I pressed the back arrow and it asked me if I wanted to save it to drafts or don't save it. I pressed save to drafts but i still got no response so i pressed the back arrow again and it gave me the two choices and i pressed exit without saving. I looked on the internet to see why it wouldn't let me send texts and it said that you were supposed to delete all messages in your inbox and sent items and take your battery and sim card out and leave them out for a bit and then put them back in. I tried this but its still wont send them. When I press send it says sending and then it stays in my outbox for ages and doesn't send. I have free texts so that isn't an issue. Does anyone know what might be going on here and how to solve it??

I had that same problem. I had to send it away to get it fixed. It was away for two months. I got the LG GW520 back on Friday, and only put my sim in the phone today and it wont send texts again. They wouldnt let us return the phone. But I'm trying to find out how to fix it on the internet.
 
i have the same problem, it generally happens on mine when the inbox reaches to about 230 messages so all i do is delete all the messages both sent and recieved and take the sims card out and back in then it shud work

i have the same problem i only got the phone today what should i do? my mum will kill me:argue:

i got a text there saying my phone was set up and its texting now:O
 
I'm having the same problem and i've not even had my phone a week - and my mum will KILL me if its messed up already. I've took the battery and sim out and i've deleted all my messages, sent and drafts folders. im going abroad tonight and i wont be able to use it there anyway so i'm going to leave it here with the sim and battery out and when i come back in a week i'm hoping it's going to be working again!
 
I had the same problem it would not let me send texts.Do any of you just type the name in in the white bar at the top???it for some reason does not allow texts to be sent if it is done that way. But then where you would type the name in the white bar on the right there is a weird blue search bubble that looks like a magnifying glass.If you click on that it will show your contacts select the person you want to sent the message to and then send!!!All done
