LG Scoop/Rumor. Need help with videos?

I have an LG Scoop/Rumor from alltel and I want to add music videos and movies to it. I just watched a video on youtube.com where a girl showed that you are able to put movies on your phone using a microSD card (which I have) but she didn't really explain how to do it so I am confused. I want to put a movie on my phone as well as some music videos. How do you do it?
