lg xenon problem,helpp?

well,ive had my phone for about a year noww.and its being weirdd.like when i open it uppp to text it blacks outt.i can still text,but the screens totally blackk.sometimes it goes back to normal,sometimes it doesnt,and sometimes its just perfectly normal.can anyone helpp?
