lift your truck with tire over inflation?

someone told me you can give you truck a little lift by over inflating your tires by about 20 psi is this really possible or just a good way to pop your tires
 
its a good way to decrease the life of you tires, and also increase the chance of a blow out. plus all that will do is raise the truch up 1 cm. The easiest way to lift the truck is the get. either adjustable shocks or air shock. or lifting blocks that go under the leaqf springs.
 
Yeah, that's really not a smart idea at all. Over inflating your tires is really dangerous and a good way to have a tire blow on you while you're driving.
