Can I just jailbreak it without unlocking it? because telstra says about the whole "notify them before unlocking" and i don't really need it unlocked, just would like it jail-broken 
My iphone is on a telstra cap plan, and I don't want to be having all these things using up my credit.
Once jail-broken I can download torrents with apps for free that I would usually have to purchase in the app store if I'm correct :s
If I jailbreak it, am I going to have any issues with the 3G, service, internet ect. ?
