so my best friend and i always said we want a gay guy friend. Like a gay guy friend to go shopping with and stuff. Its like having a girl be with you but cooler. Like something different. I have always wanted a gay friend so him and I could go shopping and have fun like him choosing what i should wear. I mean like having a best gay guy friend., If you get what i am talking about and agree answer.

ok "kat" its just a question. And im not obsesed. And gays with fashion is one of different gays i know but one i would want. Gosh
and fashin gay guys was just an example of .....nevermind. but i like scotts answer so far...
 
what is your obsession with "gay guy friends". geez lady. you only said it like *counts* like 4 or 5 times in this tiny paragraph. not all gay guys like shopping btw. some of them (like everyone else) have different interests, like mountain climbing, hunting, fishing, racing, and the like. not every gay guy is effeminate and not every one of them even LIKE to go shopping.

P.s. They are not "automatic mail order fashion advisor's".
some of them suck at buying matching outfits and have female friends or other guys help them. frankly your assumption is offenssive and the obsession is kind of creepy and i'm not even gay. i'm bi.
 
-Stereotypical- gay guy friend. I know plenty of gay guys who your friend would likely dump when he couldn't honestly say what blouse she likes is in style. Or maybe he'd stop hanging out with her when he wants to do something other than go to the mall. I dunno, I kinda hate the narrow-mindedness of the notion of getting a gay friend like some kind of accessory, but there is some real symbiosis when a girl finds that kind of gay guy. But they're not all like that, television-be-damned.
 
I enjoy having gay friends because they give me a different perspective on things, like really great guy advice.
