Looking for a book that teaches me to design apps for Android. Any suggestions?

Im looking to create my own apps for my daughter. She tends to want to play games of her favorite characters (Dora Spongebob) and I want to create more than coloring, sliding puzzles and matching games. I want a book that will teach me to thoroughly create apps step by step beginning to end. This is an investment, so money is no issue. Thank you!
 
Look on google App Inventor, it is a project that lets you create android apps
