I work with this kid. He's 12. Been through a few foster homes until adopted at age 5 with two bio siblings. Those two are fine but he, the youngest, exhibits pretty much all the signs of R.A.D. Anger out on others, trouble bonding, overly friendly with strangers, trouble in school/with grades, etc... He is currently at a group home and recently left juvenile hall where he was placed due to an assault. He is extremely intelligent and can be helped for sure. What he needs is counseling from someone specializing in R.A.D. and probably some sort of an R.A.D. support group if it exists. I've found plenty of info about the disorder online but need to find help for this kid in the Sacramento, California area. Need resources. Doctors. Support groups. Somewhere physical where he can be taken for help. Any info? Websites? Please!
